“Anthony and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two friends who passed away as they were being readied to be sent home,” the commissioner stated.
A Tribute to the Fallen
The victims of the crash were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a conditioning specialist. Omotoso added that the athlete was heartbroken and deeply emotional over the loss of his two close friends.”
His release from the hospital arrives after the boxing community had expressed sympathy for the star in the aftermath of the devastating accident.
